All laser operators, regardless of their medical qualifications, length of experience in practice, clinic location, or the type of device used, are held accountable to the NZ laws relating to health services.
Since 2011, NZ Laser Training Institute has been informing healthcare professionals about their obligations by law, and advocating to consumers about their rights, in some cases we have worked on advisory cases to the regulator (HDC)
