The NZ Laser Training Institute is the only educational provider in New Zealand that offers comprehensive teaching, qualified assessment, and formally accredited and recognised certification to industry professionals in the field of laser and IPL. They provide exclusive Diploma pathways customised for each speciality area. Upon completion of the required pathway steps, the Institute issues Diplomas at no extra charge.
This Diploma certification recognises that all steps have been completed and enables the learner to hold confirmation to demonstrate their commitment to their clients. It shows that they have continued their studies in the advanced area of light-based procedures for skin rejuvenation, hair removal, and laser tattoo removal. Moreover, the certification meets, if not exceeds, the AS/NZS Laser safety standard called ‘Safe use of lasers and intense light sources in health care 4173:2018.’

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE ME?
Complete your Diploma in as little as a year, or take up to 3 years. All courses within the Diploma must be completed within a total of 36 months (3 years) from the commencement date of the first course started.
Complete and pass each course gaining a certificate, on completion of the chosen Diploma apply to us for the relevant diploma, which is issued at no extra charge. Learners must successfully complete all required steps in order for us to verify they possess the required skills and knowledge. NZ Laser Training Institute Diplomas are exclusively promoted to Learners who have enrolled with NZ Laser Training Institute - courses completed at other training facilities are not eligible for cross credits or recognition of prior learning on the Diploma pathways.

Choose which Diploma you wish to achieve, pay in full for the whole Diploma before you start (receive a 10% discount on your 1st Diploma only, as per the conditions below) or pay for each enrolment along the way.
COMPLETE MULTIPLE DIPLOMAS
Want to complete multiple Diplomas - Sure why not? Learners that wish to complete 2 or more Diplomas, must complete (any additional diplomas they enrol in after their main and initial diploma) within a 2-year timeframe from when they started the 1st course of their 1st Diploma. The 10% discount is not applicable for 2 or more Diplomas. Individual course certificates & re-certification will not be applied to the additional courses within the additional Diplomas but would need to be completed again.

Diplomas
DIPLOMA CONDITIONS
The Diploma course that the learner enrols in, is charged in full or per enrolment as determined when the learner first enrols. On completion of all required programme steps in the Diploma pathway, the learner must apply to us for the relevant diploma, which is issued at no extra charge. Learners must complete all required steps for us to verify they possess the required skills and knowledge. Along the way, you will gain NZLT Institute CPD points and selective UK-based CPD points (continuing professional development points), and gathering these also reflects how many hours you have completed. Certain technicians will have the opportunity to be listed publicly showing you meet our high standards.
Diplomas are exclusively promoted to Learners who have enrolled with NZ Laser Training Institute - courses completed at other training facilities are not eligible for cross credits or recognition of prior learning on the Diploma pathways.
All courses within the Diploma must be completed within a total of 36 months (3 years) from the commencement date of the first course started.
Enrol & pay in full for all courses on your 1st Diploma and receive a 10% discount, which applies to 1st Diploma only, the 10% is excluded from the Mini Mods $399 Workshops, as already heavily discounted.

Study Options
Our NZLT Institute IPL & Laser Technician Diploma Programme offers 11 educational steps that will give you the knowledge and practical expertise towards working with IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) and Laser for the purpose of safe and effective Hair Removal and Skin Rejuvenation. It will give you credentials to work as a workplace Supervisor or Senior Laser Therapist in the clinic.
