It has never been so complicated and confusing to compare good quality laser and IPL machines than now, there are so many on the market that it’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed. Getting the right machine to fit your business is essential, and with such a huge outlay you want to make sure you get it right the first time!!
Not only do our tutors act as your consultants, but they also know the regulations in New Zealand as they relate to your business. We also have strong relationships with a minimum of 12 quality suppliers, and armed with this knowledge and our vast clinical and theoretical experience operating a wide range of lasers and IPL machines, we have created criteria for which suppliers must all meet below.
Are you considering buying: Alexandrite, Diode, or Nd: YAG laser for hair removal? Or an IPL machine? Are you looking for skin rejuvenation lasers? such as fractional, ablative, or Q-Switched / Pico lasers for both skin rejuvenation and laser tattoo removal.? how it works in 4 easy steps
Step 1. Sign up and complete the consultation form for just $500 + GST.
Step 2. When completing the sign up form, choose from either: a $250 credit voucher for use off any NZLT training courses valued from $379 + GST OR a $500 off voucher for a machine (the supplier will deduct this from the cost of the machine in their quote).
Step 3. You get a 1-hour consultation via Zoom with a PowerPoint to help determine what type of technology, applicators, and/or handpieces you will need to do the job.
Then a report will be emailed to you with the machines we have selected as suitable, saving you time searching, comparing, and getting quotes.
Once you decide which machines are you interested in, you can make direct contact with the supplier to arrange a demonstration and or gain any extra information you require. You make the final decision about which machine you wish to go with. NZLT can answer some basic comparison questions for you about what’s in the report provided.
This is all included in the $500 + GST.
Step 4. Once you have decided on the final choice of laser or IPL, we will take care of the end-to-end sales and training process, ensuring all details are covered and included so nothing is missed out. On completion of the sale, NZ Laser Training Institute will be paid a brokerage fee from the successful supplier. The supplier will discount the *$500 off the machine if you chose this option. If you decide NOT to proceed with any machines, the *$250 credit voucher is able to be used towards our training courses valued at $379 + GST upwards only – you will need to request this via email. The voucher must be used within 12 months of purchase.
who are Our preferred suppliers?
We are partnered with quality-preferred suppliers, all meet our requirements. These suppliers also provide support and resources to ensure you will succeed with your technology, they will provide you with manufacturers’ settings and guidelines, clinical papers, and/or evidence of results. Purchase with confidence knowing you have our recommendation.
Some selected suppliers will provide training on the system and have the option to subsidise your training through us or completely outsource to us.
what are the machine criteria for our preferred suppliers
The device must be able to be calibrated and serviced here in New Zealand by a qualified service technician
The company must be able to state who the service technician is and provide their details and/or qualifications on request
The machine delivers results based on scientific facts (not a novel concept)
Safety features would meet AS/NZS safety standards 4173: 2018 (eg; Engineering controls)
Wavelengths and pulse structures are optimal for results
The machine must come with quality training included, be provided by a suitably trained person, or be outsourced to NZ Laser Training Institute
The supplier must be able to supply quality before and after images that are their own (not stolen from the internet or digitally altered)
The supplier must be able to supply a loan machine when a clinic machine is being serviced
The supplier must be able to supply all relevant paperwork, including quality instructional manual and treatment parameters (part of the criteria stated in AS/NZS) to the purchaser
The supplier must provide the purchaser with quality safety eyewear that meets AS/NZS safety standards
The sales rep of the supplier must be able to answer questions from the Business Owner, Salon or Clinic Owner, and/or NZ Laser Training Institute in a timely fashion and to the satisfaction of Ruth & Stacey
We do not support, promote or recommend machines that are imported from mass production sites, and/or sold via third-party distributors that do not meet the machine criteria on this page. If your business currently has a machine that is not supplied by one of our preferred suppliers, we can assist you as best we can to help train staff who have to use these machines, however, your clinic will need to meet the stated criteria on the consultation form.
If we receive complaints about any of our preferred suppliers, or we discover any unethical behaviours, the supplier will be removed from our website listing page and receive a warning about their conduct.
Any suppliers who are not able to provide what they claim may be removed from our preferred suppliers’ list.

NZ Laser Training takes no responsibility for information that is missed from the business and not on the quote supplied by the supplier before or after purchase. Buyers must perform their own due diligence and verify all information regarding the business to their satisfaction before purchasing.
NZ Laser Training Limited is an independent educator and only aligns itself with suppliers that sell trusted equipment. We follow a strict code of conduct. If the Laser and Light Machine Brokerage Service is not a fit for your business, we offer a consultancy service at a nominal fee of $500 + GST which is redeemable off a machine purchase from selected preferred suppliers listed on the supplier page of our website.
All consultations for clients are based on matching the best device to fit the needs of the NZLT Institute client’s business and treatment goals based on the information provided by them.
The suppliers pay a brokerage fee to NZLT Institute for machine sales on completion of the sale by the Business Owner, Salon or Clinic Owner within 30 days.
A Laser / IPL supplier who chooses to run any paid promotional material via our database, social media, or advertising medium does not have any preference or impact for machine market scrutiny, leads, or sales.
Please note that for any after-sales purchase support, training, or queries on the different modalities or applications, the first point of contact for the clients is the supplier that they made the purchase from. If clients wish to contact NZLT directly for support, training, or queries the client will be charged an hourly consultancy fee + GST.
Should the supplier advise that additional training is required on different modalities or applications they will advise the client and provide this for them or contact NZLT to undertake - this will attract NZLT training fees + GST to the client.
