WORKSHOP OVERVIEW

COST: $599 + GST / $399 + GST subsidised if you have completed the Skin Rejuvenation Foundation Programme (CE1SR) with us

Pre-requisite: you must already be trained in IPL & Laser theory through either our CE1SR - Skin Rejuvenation Foundation Programme or an international equivalent (UK levels 3-4)

If you have completed quality theory training through a supplier on our list of approved providers, you can go straight to enrol for this practical workshop, you will need to provide us with evidence of training completed. (1-2 days theory minimum)

Treating vascular-based skin conditions is an advanced topic, not only because treatments can more easily lead to unwanted side effects than hair removal, but also because there are many variables between common skin conditions and their technical and clinical approach. In this Mini Mods workshop, you will gain insight, reminders, and technical explanations, and watch and take part in hands-on demonstrations to master your techniques and understanding of the best and customised approach you can offer using your own IPL or Laser technology.

Typically, our training models present with Rosacea, diffuse redness, facial veins, and reddened sun-damaged skin.

After this workshop day, you will have gained confidence in what you can achieve and how to go about it, you will feel more reassured that what you are doing or about to do is correct, and you will be made aware of the risks, and be in a better position to make good decisions on behalf of your clients’ vascular treatment goals. Learn how to up-sell your existing treatments with new confidence and ensure you are working within your scope of practice with the correct skills you need to succeed as a laser technician. You will obtain a letter of attainment and a certificate to show you have undertaken professional development with NZ’s leading and independent educators to add to your CV, and your laser career pathway.
