This theory-based Diploma has three distinct educational steps, after which practical, hands-on training is optional. This programme may be suitable if you intend to immigrate to NZ and gain work here - e.g.: learn all about the regulations that apply to you while you work here in New Zealand. There are no deadlines to start this diploma, however once started, you need to complete the studies within the allocated access time of each course and within the 12 month period.
EXTENSIONS in emergency situations will be considered. eg: with a medical certificate.
NZLT Institute reserves the right to alter the access timeframe or refuse learner extensions as they see fit, however works within the Fair Trading Act responsibilities.
Yes, this Diploma must be completed within 12 months from commencement of 1st course.

The starting point is a comprehensive theory programme which is easier to complete if you already have a business, however we have helped many people start form scratch and succeed in launching a new tattoo removal business from end to end, including the purchase of a new laser within their budget.

Yes. Learners wishing to complete two or more Diplomas must complete any additional Diplomas within a two year timeframe from starting the first course of their initial Diploma.
For example - you may wish to start learning Laser Tattoo Removal and then realise that the same laser device can do Skin Rejuvenation treatments; this however is a whole different level of training. If you decide that you wish to learn and treat Skin Rejuvenation as well, we recommend that you can start a Skin Rejuvenation Diploma pathway, or simply just start some individual Skin Rejuvenation courses.
Please note: individual course certificates and re-certification will not carry over — these courses must be completed again for any additional Diplomas.

DIPLOMA CONDITIONS
The Diploma cost is per person. Access to the online content is only issued after receipt of full payment.
You’ll gain course certifications by completing each required educational step, as you move through the Diploma pathway. On successful completion of the full programme you will be issued with the relevant diploma, (a digital Certificate) - Learners must complete all the required courses to verify they possess the necessary skills and knowledge, gathering NZLT continuing professional development points (known as ‘CPD’ points) along the way - gathering these also reflects how many hours you have completed.
Diplomas are exclusively promoted to Learners who have enrolled with NZ Laser Training Institute - courses completed at other training facilities are not eligible for cross credits or recognition of prior learning on the Diploma pathways.
Please note: when self-enrolling you will be allocated Laser Tattoo Removal and Skin Lesions, Skin Cancers & Melanoma Awareness programmes, the Laser Health & Safety Officer course is held in another e-learning portal, and will need to be set up separately after completion of the other courses. The Skin Lesions, Skin Cancers & Melanoma Awareness programme & Laser Tattoo Removal Theory Course require their respective workbooks to be scanned and sent in on completion of the course.
This Diploma must be completed within the 12-month timeframe from the commencement date of the first course started.
Learners that wish to complete 2 or more Diplomas, must complete it within a 12-month timeframe from when they started the 1st course of their 1st Diploma (any additional Diplomas they enrol in after their main and initial Diploma).
Individual course certificates & re-certification will not be applied to the additional courses within the additional Diplomas but would need to be completed again.
NZ Laser Training Institute reserves the right to make alterations to our Diploma offerings, pathways , pricing and timing permitted as we see fit, regardless of whether you have commenced your study.
PRACTICAL TRAINING IS NOT INCLUDED in this Diploma. Training in hands-on practical instruction is at an additional cost. If requested, practical, hands-on instruction will take place at your Clinic on your own device. Should you not be ready to purchase your own technology, which can cost between $30,000 - $50,000 + GST for each device required, you may be invited to attend a supplier demonstration in Auckland or Christchurch; this is not considered training.
