No. You can either pay for and complete each course individually over time, or enrol and pay for the full Diploma upfront (and receive a 10% discount on your first Diploma).

Yes — all theory components are delivered online, and practical workshops are held at our Auckland training centre. You can study most of the Diploma from anywhere, then travel to Auckland for hands-on training when ready.

You can enrol and start whenever you're ready as theory courses are self-paced, so you can begin building your Diploma year-round. Workshops are run throughout the year but do have a cutoff date of 2 weeks prior to commencement.

Absolutely. The Diploma pathway is perfect for both beginners and current beauty or dermal professionals looking to upskill in laser and IPL treatments.

You can pause your learning and resume when you're ready — as long as you complete all steps within 36 months from the start of your first course.

Yes — as long as you can complete the Diploma within the 36-month timeframe, otherwise some courses may need a refresher.

If you completed any of these within the past, book us to come to your clinic to train you on your device.

Yes. Learners wishing to complete two or more Diplomas must complete any additional Diplomas within two years of starting the first course of their initial Diploma. The 10% discount does not apply to multiple Diplomas.
Please note: individual course certificates and re-certification will not carry over — these courses must be completed again for any additional Diplomas.

Yes — you’ll receive an individual certificate for every course you complete. These are recognised on their own and also contribute towards your final Diploma qualification.

Yes — the Diploma includes several practical workshops where you’ll gain supervised hands-on experience using IPL and laser devices on live models.

DIPLOMA CONDITIONS
The Diploma course that the learner enrols in, is charged in full or per enrolment as determined when the learner first enrols. On completion of all required programme steps in the Diploma pathway, the learner must apply to us for the relevant diploma, which is issued at no extra charge. Learners must complete all required steps for us to verify they possess the required skills and knowledge. Along the way, you will gain NZLT Institute CPD points and selective UK-based CPD points (continuing professional development points), and gathering these also reflects how many hours you have completed. Certain technicians will have the opportunity to be listed publicly showing you meet our high standards.
Diplomas are exclusively promoted to Learners who have enrolled with NZ Laser Training Institute - courses completed at other training facilities are not eligible for cross credits or recognition of prior learning on the Diploma pathways.
All courses within the Diploma must be completed within a total of 36 months (3 years) from the commencement date of the first course started.
Enrol & pay in full for all courses on your 1st Diploma and receive a 10% discount, which applies to 1st Diploma only, the 10% is excluded from the Practical Training.
Learners that wish to complete 2 or more Diplomas, must complete it within a 2-year timeframe from when they started the 1st course of their 1st Diploma (any additional Diplomas they enrol in after their main and initial Diploma). The 10% discount is not applicable for the 2nd or additional Diplomas. Individual course certificates & re-certification will not be applied to the additional courses within the additional Diplomas but would need to be completed again.
NZ Laser Training Institute reserves the right to make alterations to our Diploma offerings, pathways & pricing as we see fit, regardless if you have commenced your study.
Practical training takes place at your Clinic on your device. A minimum and maximum number of people in the room. Models will need to arranged prior to us attending this can be arranged by us, if arranged by the clinic we have first right of refusal if they do not meet our requirements and training may not take place. Regional training out of the Auckland region will incur additional fees. Further conditions may apply and will be advised by NZLT.
