Looking for Hands-On Practical Training?
Complete your NZLT pre-requisite theory training in hair removal, skin rejuve and tattoo removal and then book and pay for practical days via access to hands-on training with our expert educator.
We offer limited-availability boutique, hands-on practical sessions to refine your techniques, build safe practices, and boost your confidence using lasers and IPL devices across all topics.
Fees are $1300 + GST per day (in Auckland) and the same fee plus travel costs if outside of Auckland - this includes a certificate from NZLT Institute and a letter of attainment as evidence of your education.
Alternatively, we recommend that you request practical training from the supplier of your device. (Typically priced at $1800 AUD per day)

Before booking practical training, you'll need to complete the required theory modules. This ensures you have a solid foundation in laser safety, treatment protocols, and best practices. Once your theory is completed, you can book for 1 - 2 days of on-site practical training to gain hands-on experience and refine your skills using your own existing device.
If you want the train to teach your hair removal, you will either require evidence of full theory training by a supplier, or another Internationally approved training provider.
Alternatively - our version is available here - It is very comprehensive ensuring not only that staff know about the sciences and safety, but are also equipped with knowledge on handling complaints, client rights, infection control, and why sometimes things don’t work as expected. Learners will receive an Internationally accredited certificate.
Wanting to learn skin rejuvenation? - You’ll need to start with Block 1 , and then select the topics you want to learn. e.g: Block 1 and then Block 2 on Acne & Rosacea, or Block 1 and Block 3 on Treating Pigmentation.

We set a maximum of 4 trainees at our practical sessions in clinic, this is so everyone experiences fair learning opportunities.
In cases where your business requires all staff to be trained- you will require two days booked and split the groups / topics over these two days.
