Laser Safety Certificate for Beauticians (LSC)
THEORY ONLINE COURSE
A comprehensive Laser Safety Certificate suitable for anyone already in, or entering the laser and IPL industry, particularly in Beauty and skin treatment settings. Covers simplified laser science, risk management, and awareness of industry regulations, meeting the Auckland council and WorkSafe NZ minimum requirements. The pre-requisite course before training as a Laser Safety Officer (LSO).
Approx.: 12-14 hours of learning commitment spaced over 6 weeks of access.
Safety for Pregnancy with IPL & Laser
THEORY ONLINE COURSE

Laser Safety for Medical Aesthetic Professionals
For Cosmetic medicine Doctors, Nurses, Dermatologists, and allied medical professionals working with non-surgical laser aesthetic applications. Laser training is not routinely included in medical and surgical training, a thorough walk through to gain full understanding of potential and likely risks is essential for patient safety outcomes, it is also a requirement for all personnel in the laser area to hold a laser safety certificate, make it count!
Optometry & Dry Eye IPL Safety
For optometrists, ophthalmologists, and dry-eye nurses using IPL technology for Dry Eye Disease treatment. This course covers safety requirements for integrating IPL into an optometry clinic. The pre-requisite course before training as a Laser Safety Officer (LSO).

Workplace Laser Safety
For industries such as manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and scientific research, where Class 3B and Class 4 lasers are commonly used. Anyone operating, working near, or responsible for laser devices in these settings should complete laser safety training to ensure compliance and risk management in the workplace.
