We take care of all your laser safety needs

OVERVIEW:

We take Laser safety seriously and hope you do too. All operators of IPL and Lasers in NZ need to abide by the Health and Safety at Work (General Risk and Workplace Management) Regulations 2016 & Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

Employers who have staff operating devices are considered by law to be PCBU (person in charge of business or undertaking) and must provide staff with appropriate PPE (personal protective equipment) by law. Additionally if you work within the Auckland region, operators must be working to the Health & Hygiene Bylaw 2013 and associated code of practice (COP) - this outlines some safe practices such as having a Laser safety officer (as per AS/NZS) in charge of Laser safety polices, procedures and protocols - We can take care of all this for you with our Laser procedural and Laser H&S procedural manual and the online LHSO course. (Laser health & Safety officer)

NZ Laser Training advises and lobbies the Ministry of health (MOH), Medsafe NZ, and Local councils on all aspects to do with Laser safety and Laser / IPL Training - we also have access to allied professionals to provide additional advice and support. Please feel free to connect with us.
